About UC Bureau
Free FMCSA compliance tools for trucking owner-operators and small fleets across the U.S. and Canada.
Our mission
We help new and small motor carriers stay compliant with FMCSA regulations without paying expensive consultants. Our tools cover the full lifecycle — from getting your USDOT and MC numbers to passing your new entrant safety audit, tracking renewals, and finding loads.
How we keep tools free
We earn affiliate commissions when carriers sign up for partner services we recommend (factoring, ELD, load boards, LLC formation). We only recommend tools we have used or verified independently. Commissions never come from carriers — they come from the partner's marketing budget.

Who's behind UC Bureau
UC Bureau is led by Don Grazio, with 12+ years working with motor carriers on FMCSA compliance — new entrant safety audits, MCS-150 filings, BMC-91 insurance setups, and ELD compliance under 49 CFR 395.
Our team researches federal regulations directly with carriers and reviews enforcement updates from FMCSA and state DOTs. Content on this site is fact-checked against current regulations as of the date listed at the bottom of each page.
What we are not
UC Bureau is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Transportation, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, or any state DOT. We are an independent compliance education and tools company. We are not a law firm — guidance on this site is informational only and does not constitute legal advice.
