Affiliate Disclosure

UC Bureau earns affiliate commissions on certain links. Carriers never pay extra — commissions come from the partner's marketing budget.

FTC compliance statement

In compliance with FTC 16 CFR Part 255, UC Bureau discloses that some links on this website are affiliate links. When you sign up with a partner through one of our affiliate links, we receive a commission paid by the partner — at no additional cost to you.

Our affiliate partners

  • Outgo (by DAT) — flat-fee freight factoring. Per-signup commission paid by DAT Freight & Analytics.
  • DAT One — load board subscription. Per-signup commission paid by DAT.
  • Motive — ELD device + subscription. Per-signup commission paid by Motive Technologies.
  • LegalZoom — LLC formation + EIN. Per-signup commission paid by LegalZoom via Impact.
  • Truckstop — load board subscription. Per-signup commission paid by Truckstop.com.

How we maintain honest recommendations

  • We only recommend products we have used or vetted with active carriers
  • We disclose pros AND cons honestly — affiliate revenue does not change our content
  • When alternatives exist that are better for your specific situation, we say so
  • Comparison pages include competitors who do not pay us a commission
  • If a partner program changes terms unfairly to carriers, we drop them

How affiliate links work

Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored"on this site (Google's SEO standard). When you click through, the partner records that you came from UC Bureau. If you sign up within their tracking window (typically 30–90 days), we earn a commission.

Whether or not we earn a commission, the price you pay is the same. Most partners offer the same pricing direct or via affiliate; some offer slight discounts when coming from a partner.
